A few reminders for the coming days. Please remember there are no programs tonight Wednesday, October 20, due to MEA. This means no Spirit Time, Confirmation Classes, or High School Youth Group. The schedule returns to normal on Wednesday, October 27, with all activities at their normal times.
The Church Office is closed on Thursday, October 21, as staff are offsite for the day.
Worship for Sunday, October 24, will be uploaded to the website and Facebook at 10:00am. Please join us for online worship on Sunday, October 24. There is no in person worship on October 24. You will notice that there will be uploaded/pre-recorded worship from time to time, as it gives our whole staff a much-needed break. These do not happen frequently and the next will not occur until Sunday, December 26, at 10:00am.
There is a Pfizer Booster Clinic on Monday, October 25. If you would like to get your Pfizer Booster and are at least six months out from your second vaccination, please call me, text me, or email me and I will get you set up.
The Peaceful Country Boutique returns this year!
Set up is on Thursday, October 28.
The Boutique is from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, October 29.
Supper is served from 5:00-7:00pm.
The Boutique continues on Saturday, October 30, from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Lunch is served from 11:00am-1:00pm.
Come out and enjoy the selections of handmade gifts, crafts, lefse and baked goods. There is something for everyone! All proceeds go to support mission projects, ministry projects, and other non-profit projects both here and abroad.
In person worship resumes on Reformation Sunday, October 31, at 10:00am. Wear red!
Trunk or Treat is October 31, from 5:00-6:30pm. This was on pause last year and we need to return in a big way this year. I need as many of us as possible to provide a car on Halloween! Come and park any time from 4:00pm-4:30pm. The children usually start arriving promptly at 5:00pm. The event ends promptly at 6:30pm. I hope to see you there!! Thank you for the ongoing candy donations, it takes a lot of candy to keep our cars re-filled throughout the time! Call or text me if you have any questions.
Office hours next week revert to normal: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am-Noon, and Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm. Looking ahead: On Tuesday, November 2, the Church Office will be closed for elections.
Our newsletter will be mailed to your home on Tuesday, October 26. This will update you on fall-winter plans through the beginning of January 2022. It provides helpful information and updates.
All Saints Sunday is November 7. During worship, we will acknowledge those of our loved ones and members who have entered the Kingdom of God these past two years. The Sanctuary will be decorated with arrangements of white roses given in memory of departed loved ones. The names of those remembered will be printed in the bulletin. If you are interested in purchasing a rose in memory of a loved one, please make out a check in the amount of $5.00 per rose, and include your name(s) and in whose memory the rose is being given. You may use a pew envelope and/or include the information on a sheet of paper. Please place it in the offering plate, mail it to church or drop it off at church. The last day to order is Sunday, October 31.
