Dear Friends,
This is the 98th weekly email you have received. This means for the past 20 some months, I have emailed the congregation a minimum of once a week, and on occasion twice a week. I don’t see this type of communication coming to an end in the near future.
I think we are all aware the COVID 19 infection numbers have been increasing across the State of Minnesota. Like you, I don’t see that trending down anytime soon. If you have been in worship or on live stream, then you know we have returned to masking in worship and in the building, unless seated at a table in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments. I don’t see this ending in September.
You will receive a newsletter in the next several days with important dates, events and a plan for moving forward. My portion of it is a general response to the COVID pandemic and a plan for how we will engage this Fall. I hope you read the newsletter and take note of the worship, events and activities. I also welcome your response, encouragement and conversation. Please contact me by texting, email, phone conversation, and in person.
Office hours are different for the next two weeks. Carpets are being cleaned, and materials and offices prepared for September start up. Staff members, who have yet to have a few days of vacation, will try to be out enjoying these last days of summer.
The office will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 24 and 25, from 8:30-Noon.

The office will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 31, and September 1, from 8:30-Noon.
The office will be closed on Thursday, September 2, and will re-open after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 7.
The worship service on Sunday, September 5, will be posted to our Facebook worship page and also on the website. There is no in person or parking lot worship over the Labor Day weekend.
