With BREAKFAST provided by the Men of Peace, before and after worship.

Sit down and enjoy some food, coffee/juice and fellowship.

 

Holiday Food Drive

 

We are in critical need of food for the Christmas food baskets and

our food shelf.  The shelves are bare and the need for groceries are high.  

 

We ask that you bring in food donations by Thursday, December 12 so we can assess our food needs for the Christmas food baskets to be handed out.  

 

All Items Needed:

Pancake Mix & Syrup

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Instant Oatmeal in 8-10 Count box

Canned Fruit

Cake Mix & Frosting

Kid-Friendly Cereal

Macaroni & Cheese

Canned Chicken, Tuna, Spam

Hearty Soups and Chicken Noodle Soup

Cream Soups – Mushroom, Chicken, Tomato

Spaghetti Sauce & Noodles

Canned Vegetables – Kernel Corn, Green Beans

 

Gift Cards for Christmas Baskets

Many of the families who receive the baskets have small children.  We appreciate donations of gift cards from Walmart or Target.  Bring your gift cards to the office, give to Julie.

 

Advent Devotion Booklets

Are available for you to take one home.  They are located on the cart in the West entryway of the Fellowship Hall by the bulletin board.  Booklets available for adults, teens and young adults and kids.

Order a Poinsettia for Christmas Eve

 

Poinsettias will decorate our Sanctuary for Christmas Eve and are available to purchase.

Your name and name of the person(s) in whose honor or memory will be printed in the Christmas Eve bulletin.

Cost of a Poinsettia is $10 per plant.  Forms are available on the table located by the church office door or you may call Julie at the church office, 763-757-4459, to order.

Last day to order is Monday, December 16.

 

Mini Boutique and Holiday Bake Sale

 

• Saturday, December 14, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Sunday, December 15, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, before and after 10:00 am Sunday School Christmas program “Twas the Night of Jesus.”

NOTE THE DATE  FOR SET-UP WILL NOW BE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13

**Set up Friday, December 13, 10:00 am – 5:00 pmor until finished.**

• Those who are donating baked goods can drop them off on Friday, December 13.
• We are in need of plastic bags for checkout.

 

• Packing up the items will be done on Sunday, December 15, at noon.

     We need able-bodied help to put things away.

• Sign up sheets to help will be out this Sunday, November 24, in the Fellowship Hall.

 

Children’s Christmas Program, December 15, 10:00 am Worship Service.

Please join us after the program for treats and pictures with Santa.

Practices for the Christmas Program are Saturday, December 7 & 14, 9:30-11:30 am.

 

Wisdom of the Stars Cantata,  Sunday, December 22, 10:00 am worship.

The cantata will include Infusion, Ringers of Peace, Trychia Borgstrom Gregg Inhofer and Kate Freund-Saxhaug.

 

Greeters, Ushers and Communion Servers

are needed for the Christmas Eve Services 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm.  Sign up sheet on the bulletin board near the office entry way.  

The office/building are closed Thursday, Nov 28 and Friday, Nov 29.

Saturday, November 30, 9:00 am, please join us to decorate the church for Christmas.
