Dear Friends,
As August flies by, I hope you are having a good week, and that you are enjoying time away and time with family and friends.
A few announcements for the coming days: Office hours are normal next week; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30-noon. Office hours continue this week on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30-noon, with a reminder that we are having all the carpets cleaned in the church on these two days (this won’t interfere with your stopping in to drop off food shelf donations or offerings).
The staff has been working on newsletter information, and we will mail this out in the next two weeks. The newsletter will have information on worship, events and activities for the Fall.
We are still in need of individuals who are interested in learning how to livestream and work with sound/AV. Please contact me with your interest. These are paid positions and we want to complete our team by the beginning of September.
If you are interested in working with our Confirmation and Youth Group programs, please contact me. We have new curriculum this year and a lot planned for Middle School and High School Youth. Feel free to call, text, or email me and we can discuss how you might become involved.
Pre-records: We don’t want any confusion when we have pre-recorded. The next pre-recorded worship is on Sunday, September 4. Worship will be broadcast over livestream, and to the Facebook worship page at 10am. This means that there is no in-person worship on Sunday, September 4. For those of you who regularly contact our members and friends who do not get this email, please let them know as soon as possible.
On Sunday, August 28, I’m hoping you would join me for worship at 10 am, and then for coffee and fellowship. This year I celebrate 33 years of Ordained Service as a Pastor of the Church and would love to see you! We will have coffee and bars and cookies.
Fall planning is going well, and we look forward to start-ups in September. Please remember that there is no email next week. Have a great week. Take care… be safe….
