OUR MISSION
To increase awareness and coordinate response to social justice issues.
FAMILY TABLE MEAL--Saturday, July 24 at 5:00pm
The fourth Saturday of the month we serve a meal to the community and anyone who wants to come. We have been serving 40-45 people each month who come from Coon Rapids, Blaine, and as far away as Brooklyn Center.
LOAVES AND FISHES--Tuesday, July 6 at 3:30pm 
We served over 2,000 meals at River of Life Lutheran Church (formerly Bethlehem Lutheran). The first Tuesday of every month Peace members meet at Peace at 3:15pm, then at 3:30 head down to River of Life Lutheran in Minneapolis to prepare and serve a meal in an ongoing effort to feed the hungry and the homeless. Please join us! It’s a great experience and means a lot to those who are served. This is also great opportunity for families with children 13 and older!
MEALS ON WHEELS--Monday thru Friday
Call the church office if you can help deliver meals. Additional drivers are needed.
Over 2,400 meals will be delivered by Peace members to shut-ins.
Every 9 weeks, 40 drivers will be called to deliver these meals.
FOOD BASKETS
This year, in cooperation with six area schools, we delivered 58 food baskets at Easter, 58 food baskets at Thanksgiving and 60 food baskets along with presents for the children at Christmas. We also included hats and mittens in the Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.
LIONS CLUB EYE GLASSES
150 pair of eyeglasses were donated to the Lion’s club for distribution
to third world countries.
WHY
DO WE SERVE EQUAL EXCHANGE COFFEE?
Equal Exchange promotes fair trade for small-scale farmers.
