CHILDRENS' MINISTRY

OUR MISSION:
To nurture faith development through education, worship, witness, community, and service.

Children's Ministry feels all ages are important at Peace Lutheran Church. We start teaching children at their baptism when they receive their first bible. When a child is baptized they become a part of our cradle roll. Until a child is three years old, and ready to start Sunday School, they receive mailings from the church that will help their parents start to teach them about God in age appropriate ways. We also feel that parents sometimes cannot worship with busy children in the sanctuary with them, so we provide a comfortable nursery for those families.
Please pray for the young children and young parents of our congregation so that they may help their children grow in their faith life.

Old Log Theater

Wednesday, July 21

Children’s Ministry will be taking a group of theater goers to Old Log Theater on Wednesday, July 21 to view the hilarious new musical adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale. This charming version features great songs, audience participation and a sneaky little moral that offers a fun twist on the original story.

This is an excellent opportunity for children to experience the theater because the guests are all children or adults with children. Please join us for a very enjoyable morning. Cost is $10.00 per person. Bring a bag lunch. After the play we will have a picnic lunch before we put the children back in cars for the ride home. We will be leaving the church at 8:30am. Seating is reserved so please contact Mary Loberg by July 15.
